St. Mary’s Church of Šešuolėliai II, All Mediator of the Grace

On the left side of the road Širvintos-Giedraičiai, just after entering Šešuolėliai II settlement, on the hill there is a stone single-naval Neo-Gothic church built according to the project of the architect Apolinaras Mikulskis in 1901 to 1910. Although the church is called a single tower by the architects, its roof is decorated with several towers of different sizes and shapes. The first chapel in Šešuolėliai II settlement was built in the nearby Šešuolėliai II mansion before 1744. Written sources indicate that the masses were held there but it did not survive until our time. In 1866, the church became an affiliate. In 1924, a parish was founded. The church belongs to the Diocese of Kaišiadorys. Šešuolėliai Church holds St. Casimir’s (4 March), St. Laurynas’ (10 August) and the titulary St. Mary’s All Mediator of the Grace (last Sunday of May) indulgence.
