Church of the Holy Trinity of Musninkai

The 1st Musninkai Church was built in the early 16th century. From the 2nd half of the 16th century, the church belonged to the evangelical reformers. In 1614, the new church was built by Stanislovas Kiška III, governor of Musninkai Manor. In 1855 to 1861, Mykolas Podberskis, the landowner of the Musninkai Manor, built the present church with the parishioners in the place of the old church. The church suffered much during the World War I. The Church has a rectangular plan, Neo-Gothic features, a square presbytery, 2 sacristies and a high tower. The interior has 3 naves, separated by 4 pairs of columns and it is vaulted. The sanctuary is surrounded by stone masonry fence with small pole gates. It has a wooden bell tower. In 1928, Alfonsas Petrutis, the priest and signatory of the Act of 16 February 1918, was buried in the churchyard.
